Questions before you start

Is CaseMinister for individual advocates or for firms?

Both. A single advocate can run their whole board in it, and Chambers lets a team share the same matters, notes and drafts without emailing files around.

How much can I rely on the answers?

Every answer comes back with the judgments it rests on, and each authority carries its standing, so you can open the paragraph that was relied on and check it. Treat it as a well-prepared junior's note: read the cites before you rely on them in court.

Can I upload my own documents?

Yes. Petitions, orders, counter affidavits and evidence can be uploaded to a matter, and the assistant will read them alongside the case law when you ask it something.

Is my case data secure?

Matters are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped to you and anyone you have added to the matter in Chambers, and your documents are not used to train models.

Which courts does it cover?

Judgments of the Supreme Court and the High Courts, with cause lists and case tracking currently for the Delhi High Court, the Punjab & Haryana High Court, the Supreme Court and district courts. More are added as their records come online.

Which kinds of matters can it track?

Civil, criminal, commercial, writ and family matters. If it appears on a cause list of a court we cover, it can be tracked.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. The platform is web-based and works on a phone browser; a mobile app is in development.

What does it cost?

You can start free. Paid plans are one subscription covering your matters, research, analytics and drafting — there is no separate bill per tool.
